About the Contributors:

Bidyudipta Chanda is a photographer, based in Kolkata, India, who uses the medium as a tool to navigate the world and modern society. He embraces the freedom of the documentary format, engaging in a methodical exploration of subjects. His upbringing in a family displaced by India’s partition, paired with his coming of age in the thick of the Gen Z zeitgeist, informs his dynamic portrayal of human experiences. With a knack for exploring the confluence of genres, he is captivated by innovative storytelling mediums, blending traditional art and writing forms with photography, to transcend sensory boundaries.

Sara Santistevan is an emerging Latina poet residing in California. She has work published or forthcoming in Shō Poetry Journal, F(r)iction, and elsewhere. Her debut chapbook, The Root From Which Freedom Blossoms, is forthcoming with Fauxmoir in late 2024. Carol Park teaches, serves in a jail, hikes, and reads. Tere Nandez is a Latina writer currently working in media. While she has lived in many places in her native Midwest, she currently resides outside of Chicago with her cat. A lover of stories in all forms, she is thrilled to share her words with the world. She has previously published in Livina Press, The Evermore Review, and Orangepeel Literary Magazine. Durva Kamdar (she/her) is a JC2 student at the School of the Arts, Singapore. Her work has previously been published in Brown is Redacted: Reflecting on Race in Singapore, The Amber Chapbook, and Kalopsia Literary Magazine, among others. A writer by day, her true love lies in collecting plushies.

Laura Zaino has an MFA in Creative Writing from The City College of New York. A wife and a mother of one, she teaches yoga in NY’s lower Hudson Valley, where you can also find her on the hiking trails. Her work has appeared, to name a few, in Big City Lit, The Metaworker Literary Magazine, The Parliament Literary Journal, Green Ink Poetry, and Caustic Frolic. Sara Anne Meyer (she/her) is a 32-year-old poet, spoken word performer, and storyteller from St.John’s, Newfoundland. Meyer has been a featured reader with St.John’s Spoken Word Sunday, and has pieces published in Motherwort & Rose Plant Magic for Grief Support Zine, AMPP Memory Box Zine, SaltPages, and upcoming issues of Antler Velvet Arts Magazine, and Paragon Press. She draws inspiration from local and global folklore, mythology, death customs, and plant lore. Her debut book of poetry “notes from the mausoleum” is due to be released in 2025. Daisy Bignell is a 26-year-old creative living with her partner in Winchester, UK. In her free time, she volunteers at Healthline Zine as a Content Writer and has been published in other literary magazines. She takes huge inspiration from authors like Sally Rooney, as she focuses her work on the nuanced human relationships of day-to-day life.

Nicola de Vera (she/her) is a queer Filipino writer based in Los Angeles. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in New World Writing, A Thin Slice of Anxiety, Exist Otherwise, Corporeal, Writers Resist, and elsewhere. R. S. Kendle is a poet and writer from the north-east of Scotland. They hold a BA Honours in English Literature and Politics from the University Of Strathclyde. Their work has been featured in several anthologies and digital publications, including Feminist Space Camp, Free Verse Revolution, and The Winged Moon. Jeahnelle Garcia is a 17-year-old writer from Trinidad. Sashi Tandon is a young creative from Perth, Western Australia. She works across the mediums of poetry, film, and photography. Aiming to provide a refreshing view of ordinary life and reveal its beauty, she can bring light to the humour and horror in the everyday. Her poetry has been published by Malu Zine, Licorice Zine, and the Letters Home Collection, and she has written several finalist and award-winning short films.

Lauren D. Fulter published her first novel, The Unanswered Questions, at age sixteen and hasn't looked back. Over three years later, at age nineteen, she's published and successfully Kickstarted three books in her young adult science fantasy series and has been featured in over a dozen literary magazines. She works as a staff writer for Pureception Zine and as a marketing intern for Whimsical Publishing. She is also an active member of SCBWI and the Catholic Writers Guild. Raphaela Pavlakos (she/her) is a 3rd year PhD student in McMaster University’s English and Cultural Studies department and a poet. Her research looks at Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee poetry and landscape as alternative sites of memory, using research-creation to intersect her scholarly and creative production. Raphaela’s poetry can be found in the Talon Review, Persimmon Review, Taj Mahal Review, Word Hoard, Sanctuary: A Cootes Paradise Anthology, and graduate journals like The Lamp. She co-authored a self-published poetry collection called Mythopoesis in 2022 with Georgia Perdikoulias, which is available through Kindle Direct Publishing.

Kalli Amelya is a Somali-Cambodian artist based in Ottawa. Currently studying at the University of Ottawa for her BFA, she uses painting, photography, and drawing to explore themes of identity and the notion of bodily memory. She finds inspiration through the banalities of life and the subconscious. These are often expressed through a synthesis of abstraction and portraiture.

S. J. Lam started her writing career typing bad stories but now spends her time writing historical fantasy and thinking about literary devices. When she's not admiring her collection of special edition books, she's working on her writing account @sj_writessss or reading submissions for her Christian literary magazine, Waves of Words.

Karen Quickley (formerly Schnurstein) is an emerging American poet. Her poetry has been featured in Adelaide Literary Magazine, Steel Jackdaw, The Dawn Review, among others. Prashant is an outsider artist who just likes knocking at the door. They don’t know if they’ll ever get in, but they don’t mind only being outside. To them, poetry is a response to the everydayness of life. They really like to write about loss, grief, complexity in relationships, mundane things, miscommunications, empty spaces, and so much more. They firmly believe that you can be a great poet beyond linguistic traditions and techniques.
